Is AI Competition or just a Tool?
I am not a great techie, and computers already crushed my aspect of intelligence. Okay! gulping facts, I survived prompt engineering but look at the speed of upgradation. Prompt engineering is an ancient history in 2026. Context engineering and Agentic AI is the new game. However, while most of us are scared of lost jobs and fall back behind, it's time to change your perspective for weighing AI as your villain or hero. First of all, it's a cognitive and intelligent tool created by humans and its not a human itself. It works on database and backend human inputs.
After watching and reading numerous sources about its role, buzz in economy and of course the scarcity of traditional jobs it has created, it's a realization the way computer revolutionized the thinking, same is being done by AI. Creativity isn't killed; it's been sped up. Hand paintings are still in demand. Everything can become virtual, but humans still need a real place to live, consume and treat. Your skills are still in demand just with a tweak. The one who used AI as a tool to create wonders within seconds could still attract more success than a pure chat bot or someone completely resistant to using it. The world still seeks human authentication. AI is just replacing repetitive tasks; innovation and creation is still the domain of humans.
There’s a well-established concept in psychology:
Habituation = reduced response to repeated stimuli
