The Confused Flower
Hey reader! Welcome back to another post. In this post, I will be describing a newly discovered learning for me. Lately, I have been off for a longer period on my blog account due to a packed schedule but DW (don't worry), I am back with an art piece that surely has something to do with my experiments. After all each and every stroke has a story just like any artist.
"Lotus flowers hold cultural significance in various traditions, symbolizing purity, enlightenment, and prosperity. Placing lotus flowers or images at the door entrance can symbolize a welcoming environment, purity, and good fortune for those entering the space. Additionally, in Feng Shui, the lotus is believed to attract positive energy and repel negative influences, making it a popular choice for door decorations to promote harmony and abundance within the home."
The above-mentioned reason was one of the superior reasons, I curated this wooden block with my solemn dedication. However today I will be sharing something different.
When drawing the scale sketch and you may say a rough illustration of this piece, I was sure to paint it in shades of cool breeze and make it look 'calm' but without my realization, this 'calm' came into an alliance with the shades of brown. I still don't know, how my alliance with different colors keeps changing.
Finally, after finishing this piece, I observed it and found the ultimate message of this piece for me. If we look at the image, there are three lotus flowers. The center one is pink, and the side ones are in shades of copper orange. The center one is big and facing straight up. The other two are inclined and tilted on each side showcasing their strong attachment to the vibes and thoughts of those directions. All three of them are joined showing that all of our thoughts, prejudices, and perspectives are connected to the human world. Anything we do, irrespective of our main purpose, affects the human world. The center-blooming lotus has to always work hard to keep up straight and focused. It has to always observe its surroundings and keep working to maintain its dignity. Well, this is what most of us think about successful people, but I don't think it has some relation to their success. They don't work to maintain that center-blooming dignity. Rather, they are more interested in working on their morals and leading a positive life. It's not the case that they don't feel to achieve more, or that they are satisfied. Most of us are stuck in the process of thinking and weeping but these people step on to the next level which is action. They do get influenced by their surroundings but then they never forget about their roots.
Next, I observed that that spiral doodle expresses several thoughts roaming around the world. It's our choice, which one we attract. They are pretty similar and from a top-level view, you may not understand the difference but if you are observant and take a look by zooming in, you will find that every spiral has its own unique circle to go around. They are simply a pack of morals where you have to choose the right one. Now, not everything is right for you. It has many exceptions. You have to look at your situation but do not stop aiming. Just because you are laid back due to some circumstances or conditions, you cannot stop yourself from achieving because you will weep for your success if you do so. There would be no other option. As you would close the doors for leveling up.
Success is a sweet aroma of your deeds. You need to smartly curate pathways to smell. Everybody breathes but to smell this you have to dedicate yourself. Sometimes, you just keep on working in a way that you feel will bring success but still don't. Often the reason is that you are not working for your expectations. You are breathing in the wrong way. This may be because of the wall around you of Kama (lust), Krodha (anger), Moha (delusion), Lobha (greed), Mada (pride), Maatsarya (envy), Manas (mind), Buddhi (intellect), Chitta (will) and Ahamkara (the ego). These are the ten heads of Ravana.
Now if we connect this to our art piece, The center lotus is trapped by the thick clay walls, but it has the intellect to turn them into protectors. It made the wall of kindness, intellect, will, persistence, and morals.
This is what we all have to work on. We don't have to be confused like the copper lotus!
